Chris Schulte, Green Light Quilts, presents on October 21 and conducts workshop on October 22


Chris Schulte named her quilting journey after a traffic light - green light. She will be speaking about using scraps to create quilts at our regular October meeting. Opportunity Quilt 2025



The winning ticket for our 2025-26 Opportunity Quilt will be drawn at our October meeting. Winner need not be present.



Faithful Circle Quilt Show


Faithful Circle Quilters will hold their 2025 show Quiltscape 2025 on September 20-21 at Jefferson Junior High School, 7200 Janes Avenue, Woodridge, IL. Admission is $10.00. Children under 12 are free. Handicapped accessible. The show will feature over 400 quilts, an Opportuity Quilt, vendors, boutique, trading post, fabric shop, raffle baskets, bed turning and a featured quilter. Located near I-355 and 75th in Woodridge. Friendship Star



Since 1982, when South Suburban College professor Mary Jane Carlson organized over 80 women at what would become the Heritage Quilters of South Suburbia, members have been dedicated to preserving and advancing the art of quilt making. Quilt making is an art that encourages individualism, creativity, knowledge and enthusiasm in sharing with others.



Meetings



Monthly Meetings are held the third Tuesday of January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October and November. Meetings start at 6:30 P.M. with a sewing bee or Accuquilt session at 5:30 P.M.

Membership


Members pay $30 in yearly dues. All members are expected to sell raffle tickets for the annual Opportunity Quilt drawing.​ Visitors are welcome for $5 a meeting.
